Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife

I found this book very  difficult to read because it uses a lot of medical terms and definitions. I struggled in the beginning and at the end. Overall I enjoyed the book. It really give a new perspective on the afterlife and if there really is one.  I give this a 3.5/5 stars.

Wake by Lisa McMann

This was a very good book. I loved the way it was written. I wouldn't recommend this for younger readers because it does use a lot of swear words in it. The premise of the story was something I had heard of before, but told in the way Lisa tells it. I give this a 5/5 stars.

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

This was absolutely the best way to end the series. It was filled with passion, adventure, and was very intense. The ending was beautiful and it was not what you would expect. I wanted to cry, but yet I was filled with extreme joy as I closed the book. I will definitely be re-reading this entire series in the future. This was the best ending I could have hoped for. I give a 5/5 stars.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

I absolutely loved this book. It just grabbed me from the start. I was a bit disappointed in the way it ended though because it didn't give me the answer I wanted for certain. It hints at it, but it doesn't out right with it. Also there were sometime points in the book were I wanted to go in and strangle the characters because they seemed to complacent or they were to flaccid. Even with these disappointments, I still devoured the book. I read almost the entire book in one day, but left the last few pages for the next day. I give this a 4.5/5 stars.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

I really loved this book! It was intense from the start and it jumps immediately into the action with just enough back story to it so as to not confuse the reader. I do have to say the one character I absolutely hated was Agatha. She was so much like a pawn in a game that could be moved to your liking. She was also really obnoxious and b**chy. I loved the other characters and once you hit the middle when the pieces start to fit it just flies by. I give this a 5/5 stars.

The Love That Split the World by Emily Henry

I really liked this book, but once I put it down for a couple of days it just didn't call to me to pick it back up again. I tried to continue reading it, but I just couldn't. I may pick up this book in the future and read it. I really enjoyed the concept behind the novel though. 2.5/5 stars

You Brought Me Faith by MariaLiza Navarro

I just couldn't get myself to read the book. I wasn't hooked on the first page, and the book is just to thick for my liking. It seemed to be an interesting, but I just wasn't able to get really into it. 1/5 stars
